Meat Loaf

10 - 12 Servings
  • 3 Pounds of lean ground beef
  • 1 1/2 cup crushed crackers
  • 1 cup chopped onion (optional)
  • 1 cup ketchup (or more if desired)
  • 2 eggs slightly beaten
  • 1 tablespoon salt (amount desired and/or optional)
  • 1 tablespoon pepper (or as desired)
Heat oven to 375 F.
Mix all ingredients well.
Lightly pat mixture into loaf pan, shape or choose any baking pan of choice.
Pour additional ketchup over meat loaf as glaze and spread to cover.
bake for 45 minutes.
drain or spoon out fat.
Serve immediately with mashed potatoes, corn, green beans or other vegetables of choice.
